Academic Integrity & Ethical Use Policy
1. Permitted Research Support
BioResearch Support may provide scientific editing, proofreading, methodological consultation, evidence-synthesis support, research guidance, and selected data-analysis services.
Our role is to support the client’s understanding and presentation of their research. We do not replace the client’s responsibility for conducting their own work, making academic decisions, or complying with institutional requirements.
2. Prohibited Services
BioResearch Support does not provide or facilitate:
Ghostwriting of academic assignments, theses, dissertations, manuscripts, or research projects where the client is expected to be the sole author.
Completion of graded assignments, examinations, or assessments on behalf of students.
Fabrication, falsification, manipulation, or selective alteration of research data or results.
Creation of fictional participants, experiments, references, findings, or research records.
Purchased authorship, honorary authorship, or inappropriate addition or removal of authors.
Plagiarism, concealment of plagiarism, or attempts to disguise copied or improperly sourced material.
Misrepresentation of qualifications, research contributions, data ownership, or academic achievement.
Guaranteed publication, journal acceptance, academic credit, or research outcomes.
We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or terminate any request that appears inconsistent with academic integrity, responsible research conduct, or applicable institutional policies.
3. Student and Institutional Requirements
Students seeking editing, consultation, or research support are responsible for confirming that external assistance is permitted under their institution’s academic integrity policies.
Where required, students must obtain permission from their supervisor, instructor, department, or institution before using external research-support services.
BioResearch Support may request confirmation that the proposed assistance is permitted. Clients remain responsible for complying with all applicable academic policies, disclosure requirements, and submission rules.
4. Authorship and Contribution Disclosure
BioResearch Support does not claim authorship of a client’s research solely because it has provided editing, consultation, methodological guidance, or data-analysis support.
Authorship and contributorship decisions must reflect actual intellectual contributions and comply with the requirements of the relevant journal, institution, funding body, and applicable research standards.
Clients are responsible for accurately disclosing external assistance, editorial support, methodological consultation, statistical analysis, or other contributions when required. Any acknowledgement or contribution statement should be reviewed and approved by the client and, where applicable, the research team or supervisor.
5. Client Responsibility for Academic Work
Clients remain responsible for the originality, accuracy, integrity, and final approval of all work submitted or published using our services. This includes responsibility for:
The authenticity and accuracy of research data.
Research ethics approvals and participant protections.
Proper citation and attribution of sources.
Appropriate interpretation of statistical analyses and findings.
Compliance with institutional and journal requirements.
Final authorship, contributorship, and disclosure decisions.
BioResearch Support encourages clients to review all recommendations and deliverables carefully and to seek guidance from their supervisor, institution, or relevant research authority where necessary.
6. Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence and Technology
Where technology or artificial intelligence tools are used in the provision of services, they will not replace professional review, research judgment, or the client’s responsibility for the final work.
Clients must comply with applicable institutional and journal policies regarding artificial intelligence, data privacy, authorship, disclosure, and the use of external assistance.
Confidential, unpublished, or sensitive research materials should not be submitted to external tools without appropriate authorization and safeguards.
