QTransparent SPSS support for clearly defined research questions
Our SPSS service is intentionally method-specific. We do not claim expertise in every statistical technique. Before accepting a project, we review the study design, variables, sample, assumptions, missing data, and the exact analysis requested.
Methods suitable for the initial website
| Category | Methods that may be offered | Website note |
| Data preparation | Variable review, coding checks, labels, missing-value review, basic data cleaning, outlier screening | Client must explain the dataset and source. |
| Descriptive analysis | Frequencies, percentages, mean, standard deviation, median, interquartile range, minimum and maximum | Selected according to variable type and distribution. |
| Assumption checks | Distribution review, normality assessment, variance checks where applicable | Assumptions are documented rather than ignored. |
| Two-group comparisons | Independent-samples t test, paired-samples t test, Mann–Whitney U, Wilcoxon signed-rank | Test choice depends on design and assumptions. |
| Multiple-group comparisons | One-way ANOVA, repeated-measures ANOVA where appropriate, Kruskal–Wallis, selected post-hoc comparisons | Complex factorial or mixed models are not included at launch. |
| Categorical analysis | Cross-tabulation, chi-square test, Fisher’s exact test where appropriate | Cell counts and assumptions are reviewed. |
| Association | Pearson correlation, Spearman correlation | Correlation is not presented as causation. |
| Regression | Simple and multiple linear regression; binary logistic regression only after project review | Accepted only when design, sample size, assumptions, and team expertise are appropriate. |
| Reporting | SPSS output review, research-ready tables, statistical-method description, and interpretation notes | Client remains responsible for scientific conclusions. |
