Evidence Synthesis

QStructured support for transparent and rigorous evidence synthesis

We support systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and focused literature reviews through clearly defined modules. Because evidence synthesis can involve substantial intellectual contributions, roles, acknowledgements, and authorship expectations should be discussed before work begins.

Available support modules

  • Review-question refinement using an appropriate framework
  • Eligibility criteria and protocol structure
  • Search-concept development and preliminary search planning
  • Screening forms and screening-process guidance
  • Title/abstract and full-text screening support
  • Data-extraction form development and extraction support
  • Risk-of-bias or quality-appraisal support using an agreed tool
  • PRISMA flow-diagram and checklist support
  • Narrative synthesis and results-structure consultation
  • Manuscript review and publication preparation

Important scope limits

  • Database searches should be designed or peer-reviewed by an appropriately qualified information specialist when the project requires advanced searching.
  • Meta-analysis is not included in the launch service unless a qualified analyst is assigned and the method is explicitly listed in the proposal.
  • The team will not invent eligibility decisions, conceal excluded studies, or manipulate synthesis conclusions.
  • Substantial intellectual contributions may require acknowledgement or authorship according to journal and disciplinary policies.
